Did I mention I'm doing the moonwalk next year? I'm not sure i have- anyway, I am. With some much thinner friends and I am determined that I am going to be at least as fit as they are.
So it's timely that,in the interests of saving money, we have let the dog walker go. She was costing far too much, I had slipped into using her 5 days a week and I'm supposed to be getting fit. Also, I really, really, really enjoy walking. That's walking by myself, with the dog, briskly and feeling the blood flow around my body. Not 'walking' as in dragging a toddler, pushing a buggy and trying not to trip over another two who want to help me push the baby.
Anyhow Mondays and Thursdays are tricky as I am busy with kid's activities in the morning and the babies sleep in the afternoon so the only time I can take the mutt for a stroll is during the school run, before we go out to our activity. So I did this this morning; bribed the toddler with a lollipop to stay IN the P&T and walked to and through the local park as briskly as I could. I was definitely feeling the burn as the return leg involved something in between a slight slope and very gradual gradient but it got me glowing!
Tomorrow, the toddler is at nursery so I'll take the baby out in the buggy and we'll go somewhere more exciting for the poor hound. Bless him, I'll have to get him a special doggie moonwalk training partner bra! Also I need some decent shoes, my foot is killing me ![]()
As far as food goes, I was so busy today I hardly thought about food.I suspect how bad my days are are less to do with what I actually ingest than how much I am thinking about food. The more I obsess, the more I feel like I@m still on some kind of diet.....
